• Access to a loaner device while yours is being repaired. Purchasing a laptop through the Duke Technology Center (DTC) grants access to a loaner device in the event of a repair. Loaners can be acquired from the OIT Help Desk located in The Link on the bottom level of the Perkins Library.

When comparing models, specs, and warranties, it won’t be easy to find a better price.* The best thing is that the Education Discount Pricing is available all year long, not just a one-time sale. 
• Computers designed to get your through your 4 years at Duke. The computers sold through the DTC are configured to work in the Duke environment. Each device is manufactured to the specifications set by the Duke IT Council. These devices are built to get you through your four years, and potentially longer. Each device purchased through our Back-to-School (BTS) program comes with a 4-year warranty that includes accidental damage protection, providing peace of mind in the event of an unexpected issue.

Access to purchasing and getting basic support at the DTC is conveniently located on the lower level of The University Store in the Bryan Center, right in the heart of West Campus. The DTC also carries a wide variety of other tech needs. If additional support is needed, a referral to the OIT Help Desk is suggested.
