We hope you will be happy with your purchases. But, if you need to return or exchange a textbook, we want to do our best to help you out. We accept book returns if:
- a receipt accompanies the return,
- the book is returned in the same condition in which it was purchased (no writing or highlighting).
We accept returns on current semester books through
the Drop-Add period. After Drop-Add, returns must be made within 48 hours of the date of purchase. No returns are accepted after mid-semester
break.
Fall 2009 Textbook Returns
Return Policy:
- Receipts are required for all Textbook returns.
- Textbooks purchased for the current term are returnable with a receipt through the Drop/Add period. The Fall 2009 Drop/Add period ends September 4, 2009.
- Textbooks purchased for the current term (Fall 2009) after the Drop/Add period (09/04/09) are returnable with a receipt, within 48 hours of purchase.
- No returns are granted for the current term (Fall 2009), regardless of the purchase date, after the end of the Fall Semester Break. Fall 2009 Semester Break ends October 6, 2009.
- There are no returns on Law Study Aids after September 4, 2009.
- General Study Aids and Art Supplies are non-returnable regardless of the purchase date.
Buyback Dates:
The Duke Textbook Store buys back textbooks throughout the year, however, the best prices are paid during the end of term buyback period. Fall 2009 buyback dates are December 7 thru December 12.
